Conference about media war in Latin America, held on 30 March, Copenhagen

An event of solidarity with Venezuela, Nicaragua and Cuba took place at the headquarters of the BJMF Union in Copenhagen, which consisted of a conference on the media war in Latin America, followed by a cultural activity. The ambassador of Cuba in Denmark, Yiliam Gómez Sardiñas; the ambassador of Nicaragua to the Scandinavian countries, Ricardo Alvarado Noguera and the Chargé d’ affaires of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Scandinavian countries, Orlando Ramos Ortegano Quevedo were among the speakers at the conference.

The Revolutionary Government strongly condemns the sabotage perpetrated against the power supply system in Venezuela, which is a terrorist action intended to harm the defenseless population of an entire nation and turn it into a hostage of the non-conventional war launched by the government of the United States against the legitimate government headed by comrade Nicolás Maduro Moros and the civic and military union of the Bolivarian and Chavista people.

In the framework of the annual meeting of the Association of Danish-Cuban Friendship held on March 9 in Copenhagen, the Danish solidarity adopted a declaration that strongly rejects the new aggressive escalation of the United States aimed at intensifying the blockade and extending the extraterritorial effect of this policy.

A journey on Cuba was held at lyceum in Copenhagen

A day devoted to Cuba was held at Lycée Prins Henriks Skole in Copenhagen on 6 March. In the framework of this journey the Cuban Consul in Denmark Ares Valdés Acea gave two lectures where he addressed the role of young people in the Cuban Revolution, the impact of the blockade on the Cuban economy and the approval of the new Constitution of the country among other issues of actuality, which led to an exchange with the students about the Cuban reality.
