The Official Mourning established as a tribute to the 13 brave and selfless soldiers who died in the Military Region of Holguín, will extend from 06:00 hours until 12:00 at night, on January 20, 2025. This Monday, at nine in the morning, in the Plaza de la Revolución Mayor General Calixto García, in the province of Holguín, the posthumous tribute ceremony for the combatants will take place. From Finland, our support in these hours of pain, and our condolences to the family and friends. Eternal glory to the young combatants!

In the context of the Helsinki International Tourism Fair, "Matka 2025", Ambassador Beatriz Parra González met with the General Manager of Turkish Airlines for Finland, Mr. Utku Yasan. At the meeting, both authorities discussed the opportunities to strengthen the Cuban destination from Finland, based on the cultural, historical and culinary potential that distinguishes the Island. During the exchange, the parties recognized the strengths of the bilateral and cultural relationship between Turkiye and Cuba, which will equally characterize the opportunities that may be generated from this Nordic market.
