Dublin, May 10, 2022: The spokesman for International Relations of the Sinn Féin Party, John Brady TD, visited the Cuban Embassy in Ireland in the morning, where he was received by the Cuban Ambassador, Bernardo Guanche Hernández. The representative of Sinn Féin conveyed two messages of condolences for the death of comrade Ricardo Alarcón de Quesada, former President of the National Assembly of People's Power and Minister of Foreign Affairs, as well as for the tragic consequences of the accident that occurred in Havana at the “Hotel Saratoga” and its surroundings.

Dublin, April 16, 2022. The Cuban ambassador to Ireland, Bernardo Guanche Hernández, visited Monsignor Dermot Farrell, Archbishop of Dublin, on Wednesday 13th in the afternoon. During the cordial meeting, the diplomatic representative recalled the visits made to Cuba by the last three Pontiffs of the Catholic Church: Juan Pablo Segundo (1998), Benedict XVI (2012) and Pope Francis (2015), an expression of the excellent existing relations between his country and the Catholic Church.

New Cuban Ambassador to Ireland presents Credential Letters

The head of the diplomatic mission of Cuba in Ireland, Bernardo Guanche Hernández, presented yesterday to the president Michael D Higgins, the credential letters accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in this country.
