Cuba is facing human trafficking operations for military recruitment purposes.

The Ministry of the Interior has detected and is working to neutralize and dismantle a human trafficking network operating from Russia to incorporate Cuban citizens living there, and even some from Cuba, into the military forces participating in military operations in Ukraine. Attempts of this nature have been neutralized and criminal proceedings have been initiated against persons involved in these activities.

Cuban Ambassador visited Luxembourg

As part of her concurrence visit, the Cuban Ambassador, Anet Pino Rivero, held two meetings with the Director of Political Affairs of the Luxembourg Foreign Ministry, Mrs. Dominique Dockendorf and with the president of the Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg, Mr. Fernand Etgen.

Cuban presence at the Den Bosch Jazz Festival, in the South of the Netherlands

Den Bosch, May 28, 2023. Representatives of the Embassy of Cuba in the Netherlands were present at the Jazz Festival in Den Bosch, capital of the province Brabant North in the south part of the Netherlands.

It was a good opportunity to exchange with the President of the Festival, Mr. Stef Thijssen, regarding possible cooperation and exchanges between Cuban and Dutch musical ensemble which promote Jazz.
