Cuba and the United States hold immigration talks in Washington DC

Washington, April 16, 2024 - On April 16, 2024, representatives of Cuba and the United States held bilateral migration talks in Washington DC. 

Deputy Foreign Minister Carlos Fernández de Cossío Domínguez headed the Cuban delegation and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the State Department's Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs Eric Jacobstein led the U.S. delegation.

During the meeting, the parties reviewed the implementation of the bilateral Migration Agreements, whose texts set forth the mutual commitment to guarantee regular, safe and orderly migration.

Cuba calls for an end to Israel's ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people

New York, March 5, 2024.- Cuba reiterated, today, at United Nations, the urgent need to achieve a comperhensive, just and lasting solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, based on the creation of two States, which would allow the Palestinian people to exercise their right to self-determination and to have an independent and sovereign State within the pre-1967 borders.

Ambassador of Cuba to Czech Republic presents Copies of Style

Prague, April 11, 2023.- The Ambassador of Cuba to Czech Republic, Saylín Martínez Tarrío, presented to the director of Diplomatic Protocol, Markéta Ŝarbochová, the Copies of Style of the Letter of Credence accrediting her as Cuba's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to this country. During the cordial meeting, the official from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic conveyed topics of interest about the protocol and the Diplomatic Corps accredited to the country.
