Accra, September 11th, 2023 - At the entrance of the house, the first image that catches your attention is a picture of Cuba's National Hero José Martí, sufficient reason to feel like you are in a friendly territory. Next to it, there is an image of the Commander in Chief, Fidel Castro Ruz. It is clear, we are in Cuba.
Cuba counters human trafficking operations aimed for military recruitment purposes.
The Ministry of the Interior has detected and it is working to neutralize and dismantle a human trafficking network that operates from Russia in order to incorporate Cuban citizens living there and even some living in Cuba, into the military forces that participate in military operations in Ukraine. Attempts of this nature have been neutralized and criminal proceedings have been initiated against those involved in these activities.
Accra, September 2nd, 2023– August 31st, marked the 40th anniversary of the arrival of the first group of Ghanaians to study in Cuba. For this reason, the Cuban Residence in Ghana was filled with those, no longer so young, who studied in the Caribbean Island, as the second activity of a program planned for a whole year of celebration.
Accra, August 31st, 2023- With a solemn Wreath laying ceremony at the grave of the Former President Flight Lieutenant Jerry John Rawlings, at the military cemetery of the Ghana Armed Forces of Burma Camp in the Ghanaian capital, was started a program organized by the Association of Ghanaian Graduates in Cuba, ESBECAN, for the 40th Anniversary of the arrival of the batch of Ghanaian students to Cuba.
