National Secretariat of the Cuban Workers Union (CTC) sends solidarity message to OATUU

Accra, April 13, 2023 - April marks the 50th Anniversary of the Organization of African Trade Union Unity, (OATUU) for its creation in 1973. It is for this reason that the National Secretariat of the Cuban Workers Union (CTC, by its acronym in Spanish) sent a message of solidarity to the Secretary General of OATUU, Arezki Mezhoud. For its part, OATUU, in solidarity with the people and workers of the island, gave the diplomatic representative of Cuba, Ambassador to the Republic of Ghana, Anette Chao García, a special recognition to send to her country.

 

Minister of Education of Ghana receives Cuban Ambassador.

Accra, April 11, 2023.- This morning the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Ghana was received by the Hon. Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, Minister of Education of the Republic of Ghana.

 

During the meeting the two parties discussed ways to diversify the collaboration between the two governments in the education sector, as a priority for the development of the peoples. The Ambassador handed over the Call for the Fourteenth International Congress on Higher Education, University 2024.

 

Meeting between Cuban and Ghanaian Parliamentarians

Accra, April 6, 2023.- Dr. Jorge González Pérez, deputy to the National Assembly of Cuba held a meeting with the Honorable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, member of the Parliament of Ghana and head of the Cuba Friendship Group in that honorable institution. The Cuban Ambassador to Ghana, Anette Chao García, also participated in the meeting.

 

Visit to Amilcar Cabral School

Aburi, April 5, 2023.- The Amilcar Cabral School was honored with the presence of Dr. Jorge González Pérez, according to the words of Dr. Kwesi Pratt Jnr. at the beginning of the visit of the Cuban deputy, who was accompanied by the Cuban ambassador to Ghana, Anette Chao García.

 

Cuban delegation meets with Director General of Ghana's Ministry of Health

Accra, April 5, 2023. - The Chief Director at the Ghanaian Ministry of Health, Mrs. Emma Ofori Agyemang, received the Cuban delegation visiting the country for health-related issues. The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Ghana, Anette Chao García was also present, along with Dr. Hafez Adam Taher, Director of External Cooperation at the aforementioned Ministry.
