Cuba’s Ambassador-designate receives Sierra Leonean ambassador to Accra on courtesy visit

The ambassador appointed by the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Ghana, Anette Chao García, held a meeting with H.E. Mrs. Frances Virginia Anderson, ambassador of the Republic of Sierra Leone, based in Accra.

 

 

The meeting was an invaluable opportunity to exchange on the experiences lived in Ghana, and to finalize the details for the realization of the next Health Day to, be held in the town of Santa Maria, in Accra.

Welcoming of new members of the Cuban Medical Brigade in Ghana.

 

Accra, November 11, 2021 - Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Ghana, Anette Chao García, receives at the Kotoka International Airport, the 5 collaborators that complete the Cuban Medical Brigade in Ghana. The collaborators, coming from Las Tunas, Granma and Havana, are getting ready to carry out their functions in different districts of the country. The Ambassador was accompanied by Dr. Mercedes Suarez Orama, head of the Medical Brigade.

The Ambassador appointed by the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Ghana, Anette Chao García, received in courtesy visit His Excellency Mr. Mauricio Mauro Epkua Obama, Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea to Ghana.

 

The meeting between the two diplomats was an excellent occasion to exchange on joint projects to be undertaken in favor of the both nations and talk about the unjust blockade imposed by the United States of America on Cuba and highlighted the achievements of the Cuban Revolution in the field of science and health.

As part of her courtesy visits, Anette Chao García, the Ambassador appointed by Cuba to Ghana, held a meeting with the head of mission of the Republic of Peru in Accra, Mr. Antonio Cárdenas Tuppia. In this meeting the diplomats coordinated actions to be carried out in the coming days in solidarity with the people of Ghana.

 

The meeting was propitious to update the Peruvian counterpart on the reality of Cuba and the consequences of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on the island by the United States of America.

 

Cuban designate Ambassador to Ghana meets with Members of the Cuban State Mission.

Accra, October 30, 2021 - Cuban appointed Ambassador to Ghana, Anette Chao García, held a meeting with members of the Cuban State Mission based in Accra and Cape Coast in this African capital. The meeting was appropriate to discuss the priorities of the State Mission and the importance of the unity of the group. Likewise, the Cuban official informed those present about the latest news on the island and the activities to be carried out during the rest of 2021.

 

For their part, the Cuban doctors shared their concerns and experiences during their few months of stay in Ghana.
