Nairobi, July 7, 2023- Cuban diplomats and native workers celebrate this 7th July the World Kiswahili Language Day, as declared by UNESCO in its 41st Session, Paris, 2021. Kiswahili is the first African language to be recognized in such a manner by the UN.
Nairobi, June 14, 2023- The Cabinet Secretary for Environment, Climate Change and Forestry of the Republic of Kenya, Hon. Soipan Tuya, received the Ambassador of Cuba, Juan Manuel Rodríguez Vázquez.
The assertions made by the US Secretary of State about the presence of a Chinese spy base in Cuba are false, totally false. Cuba’s standing on this subject is clear and unequivocal.
These are unfounded allegations.
Nairobi, June 8, 2023- The Ambassador of Cuba in Kenya, Juan Manuel Rodríguez Vázquez, was received by the Prime Cabinet Secretary of the Republic of Kenya, Musalia Mudavadi.
During the exchange, both sides agreed on the willingness to strengthen bilateral and cooperation ties. The Prime Cabinet Secretary praised the Cuban health program in Kenya, and thanked Cuba for its role in the liberation struggles of several African countries.
