Namibia, March 11th, 2019- Cuban Ambassador Sidenio Acosta paid a courtesy call to the First President and Founding Father of Namibia, Sam Nujoma. The African leader gave a warm welcome to the Cuban Ambassador and expressed his willingness to support him in fulfilling his duties.
Namibia, February 20th, 2019- Cuban diplomat Sidenio Acosta Aday handed the President of Namibia, H. E. Dr. Hage Geingob, the Letters of Credence that accredit him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba in this African country.
Namibia, January 31st, 2019- Cuban Ambassador, Sidenio Acosta Aday, was received by the Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of Namibia, H.E. Christine Hoebes, at the headquarters of that Ministry. This first meeting between them happened in the usual climate of brotherhood that characterizes the historical ties between the two countries.
Namibia, January 27th, 2019- The 166th Anniversary of the Birth of our Apostle and National Hero, José Martí, was commemorated in Namibia with the presence of the Cuban ambassador, Sidenio Acosta, the Venezuelan ambassador, Omar Barretoran, the staff of our embassy, members of the Namibia Cuba Friendship Association, Cuban collaborators and residents.
Namibia, December 6th, 2018- The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in the Republic of Namibia, Sidenio Acosta Aday, presented the Letters of Style of his Credentials to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relation and Cooperation, H.E. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah.
