Cuban ambassador participates in the celebration of the centenary of Seychelles Hospital

Victoria, 30th November._ At the invitation of Health Minister Peggy Vidot, Cuban Ambassador Martha Hernández Caneiro attended the commemoration of the centenary of the Seychelles Hospital, which opened on 30 November 1924.

The celebrations included a health fair and an exhibition on the hospital's trajectory over its 100 years, showcasing major milestones and advances in medical care. 

Cuba does not accept interference, nor does it renounce building socialism.

Havana, 28 November _ President Miguel Díaz-Canel reiterated that Cuba maintains its willingness to dialogue with the United States government ‘on equal terms, without impositions, with respect for our sovereignty and our independence’.

Speaking to the people of Lajas municipality in the central province of Cienfuegos the day before, the Cuban leader said that the election of Republican Donald Trump to the presidency of the northern power was a foreseen result for which the island had prepared itself.

Cuban Ambassador to Seychelles participates in annual tribute to the war veterans and soldiers of the two world wars

Victoria, 10th Noverber._The Cuban Ambassador participated in the annual commemorative ceremony in honor of the fallen and veterans of Seychelles who fought in the First and Second World Wars.

The ceremony was attended by President Wavel Ramkalawan, Vice President Ahmed Afif, ministers, veterans and relatives of the fallen, as well as members of the diplomatic corps.

This commemoration is organized every year to remember those who fought for peace during both wars, while promoting the development of diplomatic ties between all nations.
