Cuban Embassy in Seychelles invited to United Nations Day celebration

Victoria, October 24._ Organized by the University of Seychelles, the Cuban Embassy participated in the celebration of the United Nations Day. This year the Cuban diplomatic representation was a special guest at the celebration of this important date, in the framework of which an exhibition about the Cuban culture was presented.

On this occasion, materials about our traditions, music, literature, plastic arts and videos of the main tourist destinations of the Big Island  of the Antilles were exhibited.

Cuban President will not attend the Brics Summit

Havana, October 21, Cuba's President, Miguel Díaz-Canel, informed that he will not attend the Brics summit due to the electrical emergency in the country and the devastation caused by tropical storm Oscar in eastern provinces. 

Appearing on national television, the President affirmed that the Caribbean nation will be represented by a delegation headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez.

Cuban Embassy invited to the activities of the Kreól Festival in Seychelles

Victoria, October 14, 2024._ the Kreól Festival takes place every year in Seychelles, an occasion in which all Seychellois come together to celebrate, show and appreciate their rich cultural diversity.  

With the exhibition “Kwen Tapi”, which shows various aspects of Creole culture, the 39th edition of the event was officially inaugurated at the Kenwyn House art gallery in Victoria, to which the Cuban Embassy was invited.
