Cuba and South Africa are committed to strengthening bilateral relations

Congress of Latin American School of Medicine begins in Cuba

Havana, November 13, 2024 - The First International Congress of Graduates from the Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM) begins today in the Cuban capital, with topics such as primary health care, emergencies, natural disasters and pedagogy in higher medical education. The meeting is part of the activities to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Cuban institution, which has trained more than 30,800 doctors.

POPCRU in solidarity with Cuba

Ekurhuleni, November 07, 2024 - The Central Executive Committee of the Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union (POPCRU) agreed to include in its final resolution the firm support to Cuba against the criminal economic, commercial and financial blockade maintained by the United States against the island. 

Delegation from the Cuban Ministry of Education visits Mpumalanga

Mpumalanga, November 04, 2024 - The Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Cuban Embassy in South Africa, Bryan Betancourt Brito, joined the delegation from the Cuban Ministry of Education visiting South Africa to the meeting with the authorities of the Department of Basic Education from Mpumalanga. It was also an opportunity to share with the Cuban teachers working in the province.

Delegation of the Ministry of Education starts visit to South Africa

Pretoria, November 1, 2024 - The Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Cuban Embassy in South Africa, Bryan Betancourt Brito, joined the delegation from the Cuban Ministry of Education visiting South Africa. Today they held the first meeting with the Directorate of International Relations of the Department of Basic Education, its South African counterpart. During this visit, both countries will work together to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
