Zimbabwe ratifies its unconditional support for Cuba in the fight against the US blockade

The charge d'affaires a.i. of Cuba in Zimbabwe, Yoisy Ford García, was received at the Zimbabwean Foreign Ministry by the Director of Multilateral Affairs a.i., Mr. Munetsi Malverin Bere. The meeting took place in a cordial atmosphere; Mr. Bere conveyed the unconditional support of his country to the Caribbean island in the fight against the blockade. He noted that both countries are victims of unfair sanctions, which violate international law. He conveyed his deepest condolences for the human and material damage caused by the fire at the Supertanker base in Matanzas.

The Zimbabwe Anti-Sanctions Trust (ZAST) issued a letter of solidarity to the Cuban government and people in which they extend their declaration and condolences to the families of the deceased, the injured and the missing during the fire. In the letter, ZAST ratifies its unconditional support for Cuba and its fight against the blockade. The body recognizes that this accident is a severe blow to the island that is battling against the unjust US blockade.

Cuba participates in the 7th Conference of the ZANU-PF Women's League
