Ambassador of Cuba presents credential letters to the President of Yemen

Riyadh, March 24th – At noon, the President of the Republic of Yemen, H.E. Mr. Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, received in audience Vladimir González Quesada, who presented his credentials as the new Cuban Ambassador to this Arab nation, residing in the Saudi capital.

The simple but solemn ceremony took place at the Guest Palace in Al-Nasseriyah town, and was also attended by the Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Awad Bin Mubarak, and the Chief of Protocol and Ceremonies of the Presidency, Mr. Mohamed Al-Haj Mahfouz.

The director of the Department for Latin America and the Caribbean, Ambassador Faisal Muslat Ghasab Al-Mandeel, and the specialist of Cuba in this department also participated in the meeting.

Riyadh, March 17th - The Ambassador of Cuba in Saudi Arabia, Vladimir Gonzalez, was received in audience by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Republic of Yemen, Dr. Ahmed Awad Bin Mubarak, to whom he presented copy of his credentials as the new non-resident Ambassador to this Arab nation, residing in the Saudi capital.

During the cordial meeting, the Foreign Minister and the Ambassador agreed to praise the historical diplomatic relations between Cuba and Yemen, that will celebrate 50 years of being established next May.
