First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gerardo Peñalver Portal, paid an official visit to Kuwait.

Kuwait, January 10, 2025. The First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba, H.E. Ambassador Gerardo Peñalver Portal, paid an official visit to the State of Kuwait. During his stay in the country, the Cuban diplomat fulfilled a tight work program, which included meetings with Kuwaiti counterparts, visits to sites of historical interest and exchanges with Cuban collaborators in the country.

Cuban Ambassador visits Hadi Clinic

Kuwait, January 8: The Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Cuba, Alain Perez Torres, was received by the Director of the Hadi Clinic, Mubarak A. AlMailam and the Deputy Director, Zaid M. AlMailem. 

During the visit, the Ambassador received information about the work of the clinic and in particular about the Cuban collaborators who have been working there for about 6 years. Both parties expressed their satisfaction with the possibility of extending the collaboration and expanding the presence of Cuban personnel in the institution.

Cuban Ambassador to the State of Kuwait presents his Credentials.

Kuwait, December 24. The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the State of Kuwait, Alain Perez Torres, presented his Credentials to His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait. During the ceremony, the Ambassador conveyed to His Highness the Emir of Kuwait greetings on behalf of the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz Canel Bermúdez.
