Kuwait, January 8: The Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Cuba, Alain Perez Torres, was received by the Director of the Hadi Clinic, Mubarak A. AlMailam and the Deputy Director, Zaid M. AlMailem. 

During the visit, the Ambassador received information about the work of the clinic and in particular about the Cuban collaborators who have been working there for about 6 years. Both parties expressed their satisfaction with the possibility of extending the collaboration and expanding the presence of Cuban personnel in the institution.

More than 500,000 people flooded Havana's Malecon this Friday to send, as a message across the ocean, a claim to the U.S. government against the blockade and the permanence of Cuba on the list of alleged state sponsors of terrorism.

The first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, condemned U.S. President Joe Biden for continuing the hostility of his predecessor, Donald Trump, who will return to the White House in January.
