Cuban Ambassador to Kuwait presented his credentials

The Cuban Ambassador, José Luis Noriega Sánchez, presented to the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the credentials accrediting him as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Cuba to the State of Kuwait.

In the solemn act, held at the Royal Palace of Bayan, seat of the Kuwaiti government, both parties ratified their willingness to continue deepening the excellent bilateral relations existing between both countries.

Finlay Vaccine Institute reports that Cuba is creating capacity to produce 100 million doses of the Soberana 02 vaccine this year.

 The general director of the Finlay Vaccine Institute, Vicente Vérez Bencomo, announced, at a press conference with accredited foreign agencies in attendance, that Cuba is creating capacity to produce 100 million doses of the Soberana 02 injectable vaccine against COVID-19.

Cuba’s Orquesta Aragón wins a 2020 Latin Grammy

Cuba’s Orquesta Aragón was awarded a 2020 Latin Grammy, by the Latin Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences of the United States, in the category of Traditional Tropical Album, on November 19, Prensa Latina reported.

This time around, the renowned big band won with the album Ícono, from the record label Puntilla Music, released on the occasion of the group’s 80th anniversary, offering a tribute to the legacy of the charanga genre.
