Kuwait, February 28, 2017.Cuba's ambassador to Kuwait Andrés González Garrido paid a visit to AlSeef Hospital and held a meeting with its Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Yousif Abou Zahr, With whom he toured some areas of this medical institution.
During the meeting they referred to the possibility of establishing cooperation with Cuban institutions in the field of medical care and human resources.
Kuwait, February 25, 2017.The President of the Councils of State and Ministers of the Republic of Cuba, General of the Army Raúl Castro Ruz, congratulated the Emir of the State of Kuwait, Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah,for the celebration of the Kuwaiti people in their National Day.
The Army General also sent congratulatory messages to Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, and Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait.

Kuwait, January 28, 2017. With an act of remembrance and homage, the 164th anniversary of the birth of Cuban national hero Jose Marti was celebrated in Kuwait.
The brigade of Cuban nurses, who cooperate in the Dasman Diabetes Institute, presented a summary of the life and work of the outstanding Cuban revolutionary, referring to his thinking, ideology and his example of tireless fighter for the independence of Cuba.
Kuwait, January 30, 2017. The Cuban ambassador to Kuwait Andrés González Garrido was received by Dr. Samira A.S. Omar, Director General of the Kuwaiti Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) at the headquarters of this institution.
During the meeting the Cuban diplomat gave an invitation to participate in the international congress CUBAGUA 2017, organized by the National Institute of Hydraulic Resources, INRH, to be held in Cuba from March 21 to 24.
Kuwait, January 27, 2017. A group of 12 high school Kuwaiti students visited Cuba from January 20 to 27, 2017, sponsored by the Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) and in coordination of the National Institute of Hydraulic Resources of Cuba.
The students met with the Kuwaiti ambassador to Cuba, Fadel Al-Khalaf, who asked them to take the time to get to know Cuba and its people.
