Minister of Health of Kuwait Receives Deputy Minister of Health of Cuba

Kuwait. January 19, 2017. Dr. Marcia Cobas Ruiz, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Public Health of Cuba, was received by Dr. Jamal Mansour Abdullah Al-Harbi, Minister of Health of the State of Kuwait, during her working visit to Kuwait on January 17 and 18 , this year.

For his part, the Kuwaiti minister stressed the professionalism of Cuban health workers and the prestige they have at the international level, expressing his interest in strengthening bilateral ties in this sector.

Meeting of the Cuban Ambassador with the Minister of Justice of Kuwait

Kuwait, January 17, 2017. Dr. Faleh Abdullah Al-Azeb, Minister of Justice and Minister of State for National Assembly affairs of Kuwait, received Cuban ambassador Andrés González Garrido at the headquarters of the Ministry of Justice

During the meeting they referred to issues of bilateral interest and the development of relations between the two countries.

Dr. Faleh Abdullah Al-Azeb was recently appointed as part of the new council of ministers formed after parliamentary elections last 26 November.

President of Kuwait University receives the Cuban ambassador.

Kuwait, January 10, 2016. The Cuban ambassador to Kuwait Andrés González Garrido was received by Prof. Dr. Hussain Ahmed Alansari, President of the University of Kuwait, at the headquarters of this institution.

During the meeting they discussed issues of bilateral interest and possible exchanges with professionals and Cuban Homologous institutions.

The University of Kuwait was established in October 1966, five years after Kuwait's independence.

Cuban Ambassador Met Minister of Commerce and Industry of Kuwait

Kuwait, January 7, 2017. The Cuban ambassador to Kuwait Andrés González Garrido was received by the new Minister of Trade and Industry, Khaled Nasser Abdullah Al-Roudan.

During the l meeting the Cuban diplomat gave him the portfolio of business opportunities for Cuba 2016-2017, as well as referred to the International Fair of Havana, held every year in November.

The Kuwaiti minister thanked the ambassador for this valuable documentation and expressed his interest in the upcoming 2017 FIART.

Minister of Education and Higher Education of Kuwait receives Cuban ambassador

Kuwait, January 3, 2017. Cuban ambassador to Kuwait Andrés González Garrido was received by Dr. Mohammad Abdulatif Mohammad Al-Fares, newly appointed Minister of Education and Higher Education.

During the fraternal meeting, the ambassador referred to the educational events held in Cuba, such as the University and the Pedagogy, which brings together thousands of managers and teaching professionals from many countries around the world. They also addressed several issues of bilateral interest and related to the development of relations between the two countries.
