Reaffirm solidarity with Cuba in Lebanon
Carla Hassoun, Acting Director Director for Multilateral Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of the Lebanese Emigrants of the Lebanese Republic, received Ambassador Jorge P. León Cruz, and they held a positive a positive meeting to review the excellent level of bilateral and multilateral relations between Cuba and bilateral and multilateral relations between Cuba and Lebanon.
Cuba attended the meeting in Lebanon of the Working Group of the International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties (EIPCO).
The Meeting of the Working Group of the International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties (EIPCO) was attended by Ambassador Jorge León Cruz, representing the Communist Party of Cuba.
Cuba and Lebanon advocate for the strengthening of bilateral ties
Ambassador Jorge León Cruz was received by Ousama Khachab, Director General of Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Abroad of the Lebanese Republic, and held a cordial meeting in which they discussed issues of mutual interest.
Both parties reviewed the excellent level of bilateral relations and expressed their willingness to continue working for the strengthening of relations between Cuba and Lebanon.
The Vice President of the Palestinian National Council thanks Cuba for joining South Africa in the lawsuit against Israel in the International Court of Justice.
In a message delivered to the Cuban Embassy in Lebanon, the Vice President of the Palestinian National Council and Deputy Secretary General of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Comrade Ali Faysal, said: We salute Cuba for its firm and principled positions, and we call for an end to the aggression and for the occupying state and its supporters to be prosecuted.
Communist Parties of Cuba and Lebanon strengthen partisan ties
Cuban Ambassador Jorge León Cruz was received by Hanna Ghareb, Secretary General of the Lebanese Communist Party (PCL) and held a fraternal meeting in which they discussed the preparations for the meeting of the Working Group of the International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties (EIPCO) to be held in Beirut on June 29.
The Lebanese party leader also expressed interest in continuing to work for the development of inter-party ties between the PCL and the PCC.
