DECLARATION OF THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF CUBA. The Cuban people and the international community are aware of the dishonest campaign that the government of the United States has launched since 2019 to discredit Cuba’s international medical cooperation; exert pressure on the governments that have asked for it and deprive peoples of these health services. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba denounces that, as part of that offensive, the US government has unleashed an array of pressures and blackmails against the Pan-American Health Organization (PAHO).

Cuba moves closer to our own COVID-19 vaccine

The new partnership aims to provide broader access to BioCubaFarma's patent-protected portfolio of biopharmaceutical products, developed by the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry in Cuba. Cuba’s BioCubaFarma Enterprise Group and the British company SG Innovations Limited has announced the creation of a new company, BioFarma Innovations, focused on accelerating the development of new medications and their distribution in Europe and the British Commonwealth, according to a joint statement, made available to Granma.
