The Ministry of Foreign Affairs states its strong rejection of the slanderous inclusion of Cuba in a US State Department list of countries which are allegedly not cooperating fully with US efforts against terrorism that was made public on May 13, 2020 and that was strongly rejected by President Miguel Díaz-Canel.

In a Verbal Note published on May 11, the Embassy of Qatar in Cuba calls on all of society to contribute to the efforts and measures deployed to combat COVID-19. In this sense, it conveyed a recognition to all those directly involved in this work, especially health professionals: "(...) we invite everyone to join in the applause of gratitude to the Cuban health personnel every night and of the world, because they are the ones who take the most risks and experience the horror of this pandemic (...) "
The Cuban Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, will offer today, Tuesday May 12, 2020, a virtual press conference on the terrorist attack on the Cuban Embassy in the United States, on April 30. This press conference will air live starting at 1:30 p.m. (Cuban time) as part of the broadcast of the Cuban Television Noon Newscast and also on the Facebook page and YouTube channel of the Cuban Foreign Ministry. The Cuban Foreign Minister will answer questions from the national and foreign press.
Since January 1, 1959, countless terrorist actions have been planned, financed and executed against Cuba by U.S. special services and their mercenaries, who, on orders from the White House, have left a trail of horror and blood in their wake. They have committed these attacks using a complete arsenal: armed infiltration, biological warfare, sabotage, planting of explosive devices, burning of schools and warehouses, kidnappings, including the none plus ultra of atrocity, the explosion of a civilian aircraft in mid-air.
