The United States orchestrates unprecedented provocation against Cuba in the United Nations

Yesterday afternoon, the U.S. government called a press conference to slander Cuba in the UN’s Economic and Social Council hall. As the meeting concluded, a teleSUR correspondent stated, “This is the environment. The meeting is over. The hall almost empty. Very few of those invited by the U.S.”

Why is the United States taking this step?

The United States intends to defend, by any means, its unilateral policy of economic blockade, which is the object of universal condemnation, and violates international law.

Cuba's Ambassador meets with the President of the General Customs Authority

Doha, October 2, 2018. - The Ambassador of Cuba in the State of Qatar, Mr. Eumelio Caballero Rodríguez, held a meeting today with Mr. Ahmas Abdulla Al-jamal, President of the General Customs Authority of Qatar.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed the current state of bilateral relations and perspectives for strengthening cooperation between Cuba and Qatar in the customs sector. The meeting was held in a cordial and friendly atmosphere.

Commemoration of the 92nd anniversary of the birth of the Commander in Chief, Fidel Castro Ruz

On the night of August 13, the Cuban Embassy in Qatar commemorated the 92nd anniversary of the birth of the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz. The activity counted with the participation of friends of the diplomatic corps, representatives of the Cuban Medical Brigade and members of the Cuban community in Qatar.

Through a selection of images and videos of the Commander and the emotional words of the participants, it was reflected how Fidel lives in each one of us; as well as the commitment to continue defending our revolutionary project.
