Cuba congratulates India on the occasion of Republic Day.

The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, sent his congratulations to H.E. Smt. Drupadi Murmu, and H.E. Narendra Modi, President and Prime Minister of the Republic of India, respectively. On the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the National Day of the Republic of India, the Cuban President extended his cordial congratulations and reaffirmed the desire to continue strengthening the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

Celebrate a day of solidarity with Cuba in India with the attendance of Aleida Guevara.

On the occasion of the visit of Dr. Aleida Guevara March, daughter of the Heroic Guerrilla Ernesto Che Guevara, different organizations and friends of the National Committee of Solidarity with Cuba are organizing a large and massive day in support of the Revolution and the Cuban people in seven states of India.

Aleida Guevara was invited to India by the KR Gouri Amma Foundation, which awarded her the homonymous decoration, named after a prominent political and communist authority of the Indian state of Kerala.

Cuban National Day is celebrated in India.

The 64th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution and the 63rd anniversary of the establishment of bilateral relations with India were celebrated in the capital city of New Delhi with a cocktail party attended by around 180 guests, including officials of government institutions, diplomats, deputies, businessmen and friends in general. 

Inauguration of an exhibition of paintings by Indian students on José Martí at the National Library of Cuba.

Last Tuesday, January 24, the exhibition "Coronation of all good brotherhood", paintings made by Indian students in tribute to José Martí, was inaugurated at the National Library of Cuba. The event was attended by the Minister of Culture of Cuba, Alpidio Alonso; the director of the National Library, Omar Valiño; the Ambassador of India in Cuba, Sarvesvaran Janakiraman; and Ramit Singh, president of the jury of the International Prize "José Martí" of UNESCO and founder of the organization "Eight Goals One Foundation", and who had the initiative of this exhibition.

Business forum with Cuba was celebrated in the Indian state of Kerala.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in India, Alejandro Simancas Marín, chaired a business forum on trade and investment opportunities between Cuba and the Indian state of Kerala, held in the capital city Thiruvananthapuram and organized by the Indian Economic and Trade Organization (IETO). In the context of the event, the commercial office of this organization for the promotion of business with Cuba in that southern state was opened, which will be headed by K. G. Anilkumar, President of the company ICL Fincorp.
