Indian magazine dedicates special issue to Fidel Castro

New Delhi, Jan 14 (Prensa Latina) The Indian Society for Cultural Cooperation and Friendship (ISCUF) published in January an edition of its Amity magazine dedicated to the late leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, of whom he emphasizes his defense of sovereignty And independence.

Fidel Castro is an example of the anti-imperialist struggle and played a vital role in building socialism on the Caribbean island, wrote Bijay Kumar Padhihari, secretary general of the ISCUF.

Commemorated in India the 58th Anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution.

New Delhi, January 13, 2017. A political-cultural activity celebrated at the Cuban Embassy in this capital paid homage to the Cuban Revolution on its 58th Anniversary. In his words to the audience, Cuban ambassador Oscar Martinez Cordoves highlighted the importance of the Revolution led by Fidel Castro and the historic ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries in 57 years of diplomatic relations, since January 12, 1960.

For several years, it had been a permanent interest of the Cuban government to adopt a new immigration agreement with the United States to solve the serious problems that continued to affect migration relations, despite the existence of bilateral agreements in this área.

This agreement removes the commonly known "dry feet-wet feet" policy and the provisional admission program (parole) for Cuban health professionals, which Washington applied in third countries.

Oscar Israel Martinez Cordoves, Ambassador of Republic of Cuba to New Delhi, recently came to Dhaka for one-day visit to attend Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD) Summit. During his visit, he spoke on Fidel Castro, who recently passed away, Bangladesh, Cuba relations and other important issues including health sector of Cuba in an inclusive interview with The Asian age. The interview was taken by Golam Rosul, Senior Sub-editor, The Asian Age at honorary consul of Cuba, Bangladesh, Obaid Jaigirdar's residence at Banani, Dhaka.
