AMBASSADOR OF CUBA IN MONGOLIA MEETS WITH THE SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS, HE MR. N.ANKHBAYAR

The Cuban ambassador to Mongolia, Jorge Ferrer, met with the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Mr. N. Ankhbayar.  The General Director of the Department of the Americas, Middle East and Africa of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Anand Amgalan, was also present.

Both sides exchanged views on opportunities to develop traditional friendly relations and bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two countries.

Dear Manolo; comrades who are participating in the Summit of the Peoples;

I was not wrong when I said that I will not be in the Summit of the Americas but the voice of Cuba certainly will.

You are our voice.  The Revolution has always had it very clear: wherever governments deprive us from our voice, peoples will be there to represent us, to speak on our behalf.

REMARKS TO THE CUBAN CIVIL SOCIETY EXCLUDED FROM THE SUMMIT OF THE AMERICAS

Comrades all;

Allow me to begin with words that were told more than one century ago:

When a strong nation wants to fight a battle with another, it demands allegiance and service from those nations dependent upon it. The first thing a nation does to dominate another is to separate it from other nations.”

This was written by Jose Marti 130 years ago after attending the Monetary Conference, a feast purposely designed by a burgeoning United States for the young republics of Our America.

Havana, June 6th, 2022.- The US Government, abusing its privilege of being the host country, decided at a very early stage to exclude Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua from the 9th Summit of the Americas to be held in the city of Los Angeles this month of June.  It has refused to attend to the just claims of many governments to change that discriminatory and unacceptable stand. 

Ambassador of Cuba in Mongolia delivered a lecture to a group of students and professors from the School of International Relations and Public Administration of the National University of Mongolia

The Cuban ambassador to Mongolia, Jorge Ferrer, delivered a conference on Cuba country and its relations with that Asian nation at the School of International Relations and Public Administration of the National University. A group of teachers and students attended.

The diplomat gave an overview of Cuban history, the roots and the historical dispute with the US, including its blockade policy, as well as Cuba's relations with the world, with Asia and the Pacific and with Mongolia.
