Cuban ambassador to Mongolia participated in the tribute to Damdin Sükhbaatar, "Father of the Mongolian Revolution" before his equestrian monument in the Plaza center of the city that bears his name, in front of the State Palace

On Sunday afternoon, the Cuban ambassador to Mongolia, Jorge Ferrer, participated, together with almost thirty heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations, in the tribute to Damdin Sükhbaatar, "Father of the Mongolian Revolution" before his equestrian monument in the Plaza center of the city that bears his name, in front of the State Palace.

The ambassador of Cuba to Mongolia took part in the flag-raising ceremony and military parade in the Sükhbaatar square, on the occasion of the 101th anniversary of the independence and of the People´s Revolution that took place on 11th July, 1921

President Khurelsukh delivered the speech on the occasion of the celebration.

Immediately after infantry troops, light armored and artillery vehicles, rocket vehicles and aviation, among others, paraded.

The Minister of Education and Science of Mongolia and the Cuban ambassador met

The Minister of Education and Science of Mongolia and Parliament Member, H.E. Mr. Luvsantseren Enkh-AMGALAM received the Cuban ambassador, Jorge Ferrer. Also present was the director of the Ministry's Department of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Ms. Narantuya Shar.

The Cuban diplomat reported the granting by the island of three scholarships for Mongolian students for Cuban universities in 2023 through bilateral cooperation.

The Cuban ambassador to Mongolia, Jorge Ferrer, discussed bilateral cooperation in education with the Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education and Science of that country, Mrs. Narantuya Shar.

The Cuban diplomat reported the granting by the island of three scholarships for outstanding Mongolian students to study at Cuban universities from 2023 through bilateral cooperation.

Ambassador of Cuba in Mongolia, Jorge Ferrer, attended the closing ceremony of the 2022 school year and graduation of students at School #52, José Martí, in Ulan Bator.

The activity was chaired by the Principal of the center, Mrs. Tserenkhand Lumben and the Cuban diplomat.
