Liberia-Cuba solidarity group congratulates re-election of Cuban President Diaz-Canel.

Monrovia, April 21, 2023.- In the afternoon of today, members of the Liberia-Cuba solidarity group visited the headquarters of our Embassy to deliver the Message of Congratulations of this solidarity group for the re-election of Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez for a second term.

Through the letter, the friends of Cuba expressed their sincerest congratulations to the Cuban president for having ratified his commitment to serve with passion and without reluctance, until the last consequences.

Cuba and Liberia celebrate 49th anniversary of uninterrupted relations.

Monrovia, April 19, 2023 - The Republic of Cuba and the Republic of Liberia are celebrating today the 49th anniversary of the establishment of their bilateral relations, which have been uninterrupted and characterized by cordiality and mutual support on issues on the international agenda.

Throughout these decades, the ties between both nations have reflected the will to preserve and strengthen the fraternal ties that unite both countries.

Speaker of the Liberian House of Representatives receives Cuban Head of Mission.

Monrovia, April 5, 2023 - At the Capitol of Monrovia, the Speaker of the Liberian House of Representatives and third in command in the African country, Dr. Bhofal Chambers, received the Cuban Chief of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera.

The meeting took place in a fraternal and cordial atmosphere where both parties discussed matters of interest to the parliaments of both nations.

Cuban Deputy Minister's official visit to Liberia ends successfully.

Monrovia, March 22, 2023.- Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Elio Rodríguez Perdomo paid a working visit to the Republic of Liberia, during which he held meetings with important authorities of the African country.

The Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister was received, among other Liberian leaders, by the Vice President of the Republic, Jewel Howard Taylor, the Speaker of Parliament, Bhofal Chambers, and the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mrs. Deweh E. Gray.
