Nigeria, May 4th, 2023.- Clara M. Pulido Escandell, Cuban ambassador to Nigeria and representative to the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), made a farewell visit to the Commission for the end of her diplomatic mission in Abuja.

Pulido Escandell, was invited to participate, along with representatives of the accredited Diplomatic Corps, in the celebrations for International Workers' Day on May 1. Event organized by the Nigerian trade union movement - the Nigerian Labor Congress and the Trade Union Congress - in Abuja's Eagle Square.

The Cuban Counselor Pavel Bauzá Fusté, as part of the accredited diplomatic corps in Abuja, participated in a ceremony organized by the United Nations representation in Abuja, to present the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) award to the Minister of State for Budget and National Planning of Nigeria, The Honorable Prince Clem Ikanade Agba.
Nigeria, April 27, 2023- Given the disinformation campaign that different media are organizing against Cuba, the Cuban ambassador in Nigeria, Clara M. Pulido Escandell, gave a press conference before different Nigerian media to update on a group of issues of the Cuban reality and at the same time denounce the genocidal policy of the US administration towards the Cuban people.

Pulido Escandell, received, at the headquarters of the Cuban diplomatic mission in Abuja, Mr. Adewuyi Adetunji, protocol representative of the Taekwondo Federation of the Nigerian state of Lagos.
The meeting, which took place in an atmosphere of cordiality and friendship, led both parties to recognize the role of both countries in the sports sphere and the importance that they continue to deepen much more.
