Cuba expresses solidarity with Lula

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has learned of the ruling by a second level Brazilian court on the conviction of former President and leader of the Workers' Party, Luiz Inácio Lula Da Silva.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterates its support and solidarity with Lula, who has been the object of fierce political and judicial persecution, directed toward preventing his candidacy in Presidential elections.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs receives the Ambassador of Cuba in Nigeria

NIGERIA, January 19, 2018. On Wednesday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nigeria, Geoffrey Onyeama, received Cuban Ambassador Carlos Trejo Sosa in the afternoon.
The meeting took place in a cordial atmosphere, reflecting bilateral relations between both countries and addressed issues related to international politics.
