Forum on US Embargo against Cuba takes place in the University of West Indies, Trinidad and Tobago

Port of Spain, October 18 .- Sponsored by the Institute of International Relations of the University "West Indies" of Trinidad and Tobago and the Embassy of Cuba, was held a discussion forum entitled " The Economic, Commercial and Financial Embargo of US against Cuba ". The programme of the event included remarks by the Ambassador of Cuba in Trinidad and Tobago, H.E. Guillermo Vázquez Moreno and Dr. Jacqueline Martinez LaGuardia, as well as a session dedicated to questions and answers.

TT Cubans remember Barbados bombing.

CUBANS living and working in Trinidad and Tobago recently joined with counterparts in their homeland to mourn and remember the lives of 73 passengers and crew members killed, 39 years ago, in the terrorist bombing of Cubana Flight 455 in neighbouring Barbados.

Members of a fact finding mission to Cuba organised by the chamber of Comerce of Trinidad and Tobago express their experiences.

Trinidad and Tobago, 10 august, 2015-The Chief Executive Officer of the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Catherine Kumar, spoke at a press conference at the chamber’s headquarters in Westmoorings following the return to Trinidad and Tobago of a fact finding mission organised by the chamber.

Trinidad and Tobago commemorate 62 anniversary of the Assault on the Moncada Barracks.

Trinidad y Tobago, July 27, 2015 - In a ceremony organized by the Friendship Association of Trinidad and Tobago "Friends of Cuba", the Cuban Brigades of al Health and Sport and the Embassy of Cuba in Trinidad and Tobago, was commemorated the 62nd anniversary 62nd anniversary of the Assault on the Moncada Barracks. In this ocation more than two hundred Cuban health and sport practicioners in this Caribbean country were present, accompanied by dozens of Trinitarian friends all over the island.
