Enforcement of the U.S. blockade in Argentina forces Cubana de Aviación to suspend flights
In March 2024, the company Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales S.A. (YPF) of the Republic of Argentina informed the airline Cubana de Aviación of its refusal to continue supplying fuel to its aircrafts, in application of the United States blockade against Cuba.

Véliz Olivares, presented the Style Copies before the Honorable Senator Minister of Foreign Affairs and CARICOM, Mr. Amery Browne, who received him at the Chancellery headquarters.

The exchange allowed the evaluation of the results of the work carried out by the Brigade, the new incorporation of professionals to the country who will provide oncological services in that area, as well as the existing epidemiological situation in Trinidad and Tobago.

They were received by the designated ambassador in the country, Gustavo Veliz; the head of the Medical Brigade in Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Orlando Díaz, the commercial counselor of the Cuban Embassy, Julio Cabada and directors of the country's Ministry of Public Health.
