Court on the blockade of Cuba to sit in the European Parliament

Brussels, Nov 16 (Prensa Latina) The headquarters of the European Parliament will host an international court to judge the US blockade against Cuba, its consequences and its extraterritorial nature.

On the first of its two days, the court will hear the oral and written arguments that substantiate the complaints filed against the blockade applied by the United States to stifle Cuba.

Chancelllors of Cuba and Belize meet within the framework of FIHAV 2023

Havana, november 7, 2023.- The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cub, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Immigration of Beliz, Eamon Courtenay, held a meeting within the framework of their participation in the FIHAV2023. At the meeting, aspects of bilateral and regional interest were addressed.

Havana, 6 november 2023, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Immigration of Belize Eamon Courtenay met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment of Cuba Ricardo Cabrisas. Minister Eamon Courtenay is in Havana to attend the FIHAV 2023.

FM Courtenay is in Havana, Cuba. He meets with Ricardo Cabrisas to discuss trade and a number of issues relevant to Belize and Cuba. Cabrisas is a long standing friend of Belize. (EmbacubaBelice).

Cuba elected to the UN Human Rights Council

Havana, October 10, 2023.- Cuba was elected, for the sixth time, to the Human Rights Council, in recognition of the prestige achieved by the country in the work of the Council.

With the secret, direct and individual vote of 146 Member States of the United Nations General Assembly, Cuba was the country scoring the highest number of votes in the region, which ratifies the recognition of the international community to the significant progress made by the country in the enjoyment of all human rights for all people is ratified.

Belize celebrates ceremony for the start of Cuba’s Independence Day

Belmopan, Oct 11 (Prensa Latina) The diplomatic mission of Cuba in Belize conmemorated the 155th anniversary of the beginning of the independence of the island and the day of the national culture with a political celebration, the legation reported Wednesday.
