The XIV International Meeting of Economists on Globalization and Development Problems will be held in Havana

The National Association of Economists and Accountants of Cuba (ANEC) and the Association of Economists of Latin America and the Caribbean (AEALC) consider that in order to understand the challenges faced by developing nations, it is essential to recover and update the analysis of the main transformations and trends in the global economy, and the ways in which international economic relations operate today.

Cuban Ambassador participates in virtual meeting with main representatives of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Australia

Canberra, 24 April, 2023. The main representatives of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Australia had a virtual meeting this Sunday with the Cuban Ambassador to the Commonwealth of Australia.

The meeting addressed issues such as the tightening of the U.S. economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba, as well as the inclusion of Cuba on the list of countries sponsoring terrorism.

Members of the Communist Party of Australia and the Australian Friendship Society with Cuba condemn the U.S. blockade of Cuba

Canberra, 23 April, 2023. Members of the Communist Party of Australia and the Australia-Cuba Friendship Society met in Adelaide to demand an end to the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States government on Cuba.

The participants raised their voices in defense of the Cuban people and demanded the US government to put an end to this vile policy that for more than 60 years has been affecting Cuba.

Members of the Australia-Cuba Friendship Society speak out against the U.S. blockade on the anniversary of the victory of the Bay of Pigs

Canberra, April 17, 2023. In commemoration of the 62nd anniversary of the victory at the Bay of Pigs, members of the Australia-Cuba Friendship Society (ACFS) gathered today in front of the US Consulate in northern Sydney in support of the Cuban people. 

As it is a tradition on the 17th of every month, the solidarity members demanded the United States government to end the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on the Cuban people.
