Cuban Ambassador meets with Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in the Commonwealth of Australia

Canberra, 3 April, 2023. This morning, the Cuban Ambassador to the Commonwealth of Australia met with the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, Ali Kraishan, Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in this capital.

During the meeting, the diplomats addressed the good state of bilateral relations between the two countries, and the work carried out to promote the culture of each country in Australia.

End of the US blockade against Cuba demanded in Canberra, Australia

Canberra, 1st April, 2023. On Saturday, 1st April, an activity of solidarity with Cuba was held in the Australian capital as part of the efforts of the Australia-Cuba Friendship Association (ACFS) to continue supporting the Cuban people in the midst of the escalation of the economic, commercial and financial blockade against the island by the government of the United States.

Cuban Ambassador receives members of the Solidarity Association in Canberra

Canberra, 30 March, 2023. This afternoon, the Cuban Ambassador to the Commonwealth of Australia received members of the Australia-Cuba Friendship Society at the Cuban Embassy in Canberra.

The emotional meeting was attended by several members of the organization headed by Rob Parnell, coordinator of the Canberra branch of this organization. 

The diplomat thanked the expressions of love and solidarity from the movement, as well as its firm position against the blockade on behalf of the people of Cuba.

Cuban Ambassador to Australia participates in Bangladesh National Day celebration

Canberra, 28 March, 2023. This afternoon, the Cuban Ambassador to the Commonwealth of Australia participated in the ceremony to celebrate the 52nd Anniversary of the Independence of Bangladesh.

The activity was hosted by the Embassy of Bangladesh in Australia, and was attended by the diplomatic corps accredited in Canberra.
