The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba initiates an official visit to Austria

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla arrived at Vienna on aworking visit.

During his stay, the Cuban Foreign Minister will execute a working program that includes meetings with the Federal Deputy-chancellor and the Federal Minister of Justice, Dr. Wolfgang Brandstetter; Ms. Doris Bures, President of the Parliament, and Dr. Heinz Fischer former Federal President of Austria.

The Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs will execute a tour of European countries

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla will start a tour of Turkey, Austria, Slovakia, Italy, and the Vatican from Thursday 15th.

During the tour, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will execute an extensive programme of official meetings with his couenterparts and other national authorities.

Cuba, IAEA Sign Technical Cooperation Agreement

Cuba and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have signed today a technical cooperation agreement for the coming years with priorities in specific areas of greatest benefit to the island.

I appreciate the invitation the Austrian Trade-union Confederation (ÖGB) and particularly, Marcus Ströhmeier and Sabine Stelczenmayr have extended to me on the occasion of the inauguration of an exhibit devoted to the Cuban Trade Union. I welcome the presence of the veteran comrade Gilda Chacón Bravo from the Division of International Relations of the Cuban Trade Union who is participating as a panellist in this meeting.
