Azerbaijani embassy to be established in Cuba

Azerbaijani President Iljam Aliyev signed a Law on the establishment of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Cuba, located in Havana, diplomatic sources in this capital reported today.

On the agenda of the first plenary session of the Azerbaijani Parliament was a bill on the establishment of the Azerbaijani embassy in Cuba, they specified.

The opening of the embassy would make an important contribution to the development of relations between the two countries, highlighted local political experts.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, H.E. Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf has received a message sent by his Cuban counterpart, H.E. Mr. Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla.

The message was conveyed to the Saudi Foreign Minister by the Cuban Ambassador to the Kingdom, Mr. Orlando Requeijo Gual, during an audience conceded on Wednesday, September 18th, 2019, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ headquarters in Jeddah.

Saudi-Cuban Parliamentary Friendship Committee of the Shura Council has held a meeting chaired by Member of the Shura Council Eng. Mohammad bin Hamed Al-Naqadi with the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Orlando Requeijo Gual.
During the meeting, they discussed ways of enhancing bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and stressed the importance of mutual visits between the joint parliamentary friendship committees between the Shura Council and the Cuban Parliament to raise the level of parliamentary cooperation between them.

Ambassador of Cuba presents its Letters of Credence to the King of Bahrain

H.E. Orlando Requeijo Gual, Ambassador of Cuba, delivered to the King of Bahrain, His Majesty Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, his Letters of Credence as Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Kingdom of Bahrain, with residence in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The solemn ceremony held in Al-Sakhir Royal Palace last December 4th, 2018, was also attended by H.E. the Minister of Royal Court, H.E. the Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. the Minister for Follow-up at the Royal Court and the Chief of Royal Protocol.
