The Ambassador of Cuba to The Gambia, Lázaro Herrera, was welcomed in the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad, by the Honorable Minister Mr. Ousainou Darboe, with whom the visitor held a fruitful exchange that included the support to the fight against the blockade on Cuba, as well as the development of bilateral ties and other issues of common interest.

New Delhi, July 26 (Prensa Latina) Several Indian unions reiterated their support for the Cuban Revolution today while condemning the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on the Caribbean island by the United States for more than 50 years.
Representatives of various guilds visited the Cuban embassy on the occasion of National Rebellion Day, which every July 26 celebrates the anniversary of the attacks on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Cespedes garrisons in 1953, an action that reinitiated the struggle process in the Largest of the Antilles.
The Minister of Foreing Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, who is paying a work visit to Austria, will hold a press conference in Vienna, on Monday, June 19th, at 4:00 p.m (10:00 p.m. - Cuba).
The Cuban Minister will address important and current issues related to Cuban foreing policy.
The press conference will be transmitted live by Cuban television and radio, and also by the Youtube channel of the Cuban Foreign Ministry official site (www.minrex.gob.cu).
On June 16, 2017, US President Donald Trump delivered a speech full of hostile anti-Cuban rhetoric reminiscent of the times of open confrontation with our country in a Miami theater. He announced his government’s Cuba policy, which rolls back the progress achieved over the last two years since December 17, 2014, when Presidents Raúl Castro and Barack Obama announced the decision to re-establish diplomatic relations and engage in a process towards the normalization of bilateral relations.
In Linz, an Austrian city that is the capital of the Upper Austria region, a debate panel against the blockade organized by the branch of the Friendship Association Cuba-Austria (ÖKG, by its Dutch initials) of that region in coordination with socialist youth (KSV, by its Dutch initials), and the Austria´s Association of Communist Students (KJÖ, by its Dutch initials) was held.
Copenhagen- The Danish-Cuban Friendship Association, in its annual Assembly held on Saturday, March 25, paid tribute to Fidel Castro, the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution. Its members also reaffirmed their solidarity with Cuba and their commitment to continue advocating for the lifting of the unfair blockade imposed to the Island. The plenary also approved a statement highlighting the Cuban government's offer of a thousand scholarships to study medicine to the Colombian government and FARC-EP, as a contribution to the peace process in Colombia.
Copenhagen - The Cuban Embassy in Denmark held an event on March 3 to commemorate the 58th anniversary of the Cuban Revolution and pay tribute to Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz. The event was attended by more than 100 friends of Cuba, including the ambassadors of South Africa and Benin in Denmark, Zindziswa Nobutho Mandela and Eusèbe Agbangla; diplomats from the Embassy of Venezuela; The Danish-Cuban Association of Friendship; members of the 3F trade union; from the communist parties and Cuban residents in Denmark.
