Lusaka, August 29, 2023. Zambia's Minister of Science and Technology, Hon. Mr. Félix C. Mutati, MP received the Ambassador of Cuba Marileydis Dueñas Morales at his ministry headquarters.

The occasion was propitious for both parties to review issues of bilateral, multilateral and cooperation interest in the relations of both countries.

Cuba rejects WSJ publication on alleged Chinese military base.

Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Carlos Fernández de Cossío, rejected the publication of the US newspaper The Wall Street Journal about an alleged agreement between the governments of China and Cuba to establish a Chinese military base in Cuban territory to intercept communications in the United States.

He stressed that "regardless of the sovereign rights of Cuba in defense matters, our country is a signatory to the Declaration of Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace, signed in Havana, in January 2014”.

Cuba thanks Nigeria for its support against the genocidal US blockade.

Nigeria, January 16th, 2023.- The Cuban ambassador in this country, Clara M. Pulido Escandell, was received by Ambassador Samson Itegboye, director of International Organizations of the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, the Cuban diplomat, on behalf of the Cuban people and government, conveyed to the Nigerian executive the gratitude for Nigeria's support for the Cuban resolution against the blockade.

Cuban Foreign Minister denounces Twitter's links with the US Government

Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez, denounced through his Twitter account the links of that social network with U.S. government agencies to carry out psychological warfare actions against Cuba and demanded a response on the matter.

Rodriguez pointed out that the so-called Twitter Files, documents leaked to journalists on the management of that company, show that the U.S. intelligence agencies, the Pentagon, and the State Department coordinated such activities.

At the same time, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) paid the company to respond to its requests, he added.

Friends of Cuba celebrate anniversary of the Revolution.

Wellington, December 9. Members of the solidarity groups in this city and other friends of Cuba attended the celebration at our Embassy of a new anniversary of the Revolution.

Ambassador Edgardo Valdés thanked those present for the support provided during a very difficult year for Cuba, and particularly highlighted the contribution of those who have offered us their solidarity for decades.

Love overcomes hatred in solidarity caravan opposing U.S. blockade

Shouting "Cuba yes, Blockade No", a new solidarity caravan started on Sunday across Miami, Florida, opposing the U.S. blockade imposed on Cuba for over 60 years.
