Cuban and Caribbean culture come together for the same cause

Toronto, April 30, 2018.- On Friday, April 27th, the Canadian Network on Cuba (CNC), in collaboration with the Cuba - Canada Friendship Association of Toronto and the Association of Cuban residents in this city "Juan Gualberto Gómez", among other organizations in solidarity with the island, organized a cultural event that welcomed Caribbean and Latin American artists united in a common feeling: Cuba.

The Government of Canada has decided to change the designation of its Embassy in Havana to an unaccompanied post —according to its statement— as a result of the health concerns reported by some of its diplomats back in 2017.

Cuba ratifies —after an extensive investigation conducted by a group of highly-qualified experts— that there is neither a single shred of evidence to explain the symptoms reported by Canadian diplomats, nor any indication that any attack or incident of any kind had ever occurred on Cuban soil, nor that the symptoms reported are associated with acoustic actions, or with actions of any other kind, carried out by any person or group of persons against other persons.

Deputy of Cuba´s National Assembly of People´s Power initiates a visit to Canada as part of an invitation by Canadian solidarity.

Toronto, March 23th, 2018.- Juan Carlos Rodríguez Díaz, member of Cuba´s National Assembly of People´s Power and Historian of the City of Pinar del Rio in western Cuba, and Yamil Martinez from Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) arrived to Canada as part of an invitation by Canadian Network on Cuba (CNC).
