Meeting with the Quebec Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The Consul General of Cuba in Montreal, Susana Malmierca Benitez visited the headquarters of the Quebec Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where she had a meeting with Steeve Lavoie, President of that institution.

During the visit, they exchanged on Cuba's potential in the business sphere and the changes in the investment and business establishment process. Information was provided on the Havana International Fair, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.

Meeting of the Caribbean Consular Corps accredited at the Consulate General of Cuba in Toronto

This afternoon, a meeting of the Caribbean Consular Corps accredited in this city was held at the Consulate General of Cuba in Toronto.
During the meeting, a broad agenda was completed which included, among the main topics, the follow-up of the agreements reached in the meetings with the Minister of Labor and the Executive Director of the Skilled Trades Ontario agency; the planning of future joint actions; and the welcome to the new representatives of St. Kitts and Nevis, Jamaica, Grenada and Guyana.
 

Container of medical supplies sent from Toronto to Cuba

On March 16, the 79th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Cuba and Canada, members of the Juan Gualberto Gómez Association of Cuban Residents in Toronto, Jennifer Raymer & Together for Cuba and members of the Consulate General of Cuba in Toronto joined forces to fill a container with medical supplies bound for Santiago de Cuba.

Those present condemned the U.S. blockade against our people and ratified their support for our Revolution.

Solidarity Movement in Ottawa welcomed the Cuban Ambassador to Canada, Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz

Ottawa, March 14, 2024-. Members of the Cuba solidarity movement in Ottawa welcomed Cuban Ambassador Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz during a pleasant meeting, where dialogue and love for our island prevailed.
 
During the event, the Cuban current affairs were discussed and the hostile policy of the U.S. government was condemned, mainly the economic, commercial and financial blockade, as well as the failed attempts to destabilize the Revolution.

Ambassador-designate of Cuba to Canada, Rodrigo Malmierca presented the Copies of his Credentials.

Ottawa, March 12, 2024- The Ambassador-designate of Cuba to Canada, Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz presented this Tuesday the Copies of his Credentials to the Director of Protocol of the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs, Sébastien Carrière.

In a cordial welcome at the headquarters of the Canadian Foreign Ministry, the representative of the Canadian government welcomed Ambassador Rodrigo Malmierca, wishing him every success in his mission.
