General Consul of Cuba in Montreal makes an intense working visit to Quebec City.
Ottawa, June 22, 2022 - On Wednesday morning, a fruitful meeting took place between Susana Malmierca, General Consul of Cuba in Montreal and Sylvain Lavoie Président-directeur général du Centre de la francophonie des Amériques. Marc Lebel-Racine, Counselor for the Antilles and Central America of the Ministère des Relations internationales et de la Francophonie du Québec, also participated in the meeting.
The occasion was propitious to ratify the interest in French language learning in Cuba and the opportunities for future exchange projects.
Minister of Tourism completed an intense work program in Toronto.
Cuba's Minister of Tourism, Juan Carlos García Granda, completed an intense working visit to Toronto during which he presented the Única advertising campaign.
During his visit, he met with the main tour operators, travel agencies, journalists and members of the Cuban community. In all the meetings, the interest in boosting the Cuban tourism market and the commitment to expand its quality and diversity prevailed.
After extensive working sessions, the Minister held a meeting with the Cuban Consulate in Toronto.

During the visit to Toronto of the Minister of Tourism of Cuba, Juan Carlos García Granda, an excellent meeting was held with members of the Juan Gualberto Gómez Association of Cubans (ACJGG). The Minister was joined by the Cuban Ambassador to Canada, Héctor Igarza Cabrera; the General Consul in Toronto, Jorge Yanier Castellanos Orta; the new commercial director of MINTUR, Gihana Galindo Enriquez and the Tourism Counselor in Toronto, Lessner Gómez Molina.

Ottawa, June 8, 2022: - In the presence of the Minister of Tourism Juan Carlos García Granda, the presentation of the Única advertising campaign was held in front of Montreal's main tour operators and travel agencies that work with the Cuba destination. The event was attended by Cuban officials accompanying the Minister on his visit and the specialized tourism media.

Cuba's Minister of Tourism, Juan Carlos García Granda, arrived in Canada together with a delegation of the MINTUR to launch the Única advertising campaign.
As part of the program, they held meetings with major airlines and tour operators such as WestJet, Air Canada, Air Transat and Nolinor. All of them expressed their interest in Cuba and its growth potential. They also visited the Institut de tourisme et d'hôtellerie du Québec where they exchanged on the functioning of this prestigious institution and the projects they have with our country in terms of training.
