3rd TRADE CONVENTION 2024

The Ministry of Domestic Trade is pleased to invite you to the 3rd Trade Convention, Cuba
2024, to be held from July 8th to 12th, at the Havana lnternational Conference Center and
at the PABEXPO fairgrounds as a sub- venue, which will address issues related to trade
integration and development.

Cuba present at the Travel and Vacation Show in Ottawa
On April 6 and 7, Cuba was represented at The Travel and Vacation Show, held at the Shaw Centre in Ottawa.
As part of this event, dozens of people visited the stand of the largest Antillean Island and were able to access information on the attractions and facilities of Cuba as a destination.
Around 1 million tourists from Canada visit Cuba every year, a figure that places this country as the main source market for Cuban tourism, reaffirming the island's preference among Canadians.
Conference of the Consul General of Cuba in Montreal on the Cuban reality
Ottawa, April 7, 2024. With the participation of more than 60 people, a Conference was held in Montreal, given by Susana Malmierca Beníez, Consul General of Cuba in Montreal.
The Conference provided an update on the Cuban reality and the main changes that have taken place on the island. The occasion contributed to condemn the unjust economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba, the main obstacle to the integral development of the Cuban people and its institutions.
Children's party in Ottawa celebrating April 4th.
Ottawa, April 6. -With the participation of children of Cuban residents, members of the Association of Cuban Residents in Ottawa-Gatineau, relatives of supportive friends and the Cuban Embassy in Canada, the "Cuban Children's Party" was held in Ottawa to celebrate April 4th.
In a festive atmosphere and with the joy that characterizes children, there were games of participation and knowledge, which highlighted the patriotic values.
Visit to the city of Saint-Constant
The Consul General of Cuba in Montreal, Susana Malmierca paid a visit to the Mayor's Office of the city of Saint-Constant, accompanied by the Councilor for Tourism, Michel Bernal.
During a pleasant meeting with Mayor Jean-Claude Boyer, Councilor Natalia Zuluaga and other officials, they exchanged on future events in the city that enhance the culture of various nations, including Cuban culture.
