Between songs and poetry, a political-cultural evening was held at the headquarters of the Cuban Embassy in Canada. It was attended by friends, Cubans living in Canada, representatives of the organizations Ottawa-Cuba Connections, Association d'Amitié Outaouais-Cuba and members of the Cuban mission in Ottawa.

After an intense working tour through several Canadian provinces, Sandra Ramírez, Director of the North America Desk of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP by its acronym in Spanish language), together with Aileen Carmenaty, Press and Cultural Attaché of the Cuban Embassy in Canada, visited British Columbia, where they held several meetings with friends of Cuba from Vancouver, Nanaimo, Victoria and Calgary (Alberta).

On Sunday, July 3, the Consulate of Cuba along with other Latin American consulates accredited in Toronto (Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador and Mexico) exhibited part of their roots at the Latin Fair in Toronto to highlight the Hispanic heritage and cultural diversity in Canada.
