Cuba's Minister of Tourism presented the Única advertising campaign in the city of Montreal

Ottawa, June 8, 2022: - In the presence of the Minister of Tourism Juan Carlos García Granda, the presentation of the Única advertising campaign was held in front of Montreal's main tour operators and travel agencies that work with the Cuba destination. The event was attended by Cuban officials accompanying the Minister on his visit and the specialized tourism media.

Cuba's Minister of Tourism, Juan Carlos García Granda, arrived in Canada together with a delegation of the MINTUR to launch the Única advertising campaign.

As part of the program, they held meetings with major airlines and tour operators such as WestJet, Air Canada, Air Transat and Nolinor. All of them expressed their interest in Cuba and its growth potential. They also visited the Institut de tourisme et d'hôtellerie du Québec where they exchanged on the functioning of this prestigious institution and the projects they have with our country in terms of training.

Donation from Canada in support of the events at the Saratoga Hotel.

Ottawa, May 30, 2022.- The "Juan Gualberto Gómez" Association of Cuban Residents in Toronto made a donation of medical supplies, for an approximate value of 73 thousand Canadian dollars, in response to the events that occurred at the Saratoga Hotel, on May 6 of this year, where more than 99 people were injured. The destination of this donation will be the "General Calixto García" Clinical and Surgical Teaching Hospital, in Havana, the institution that received the largest number of injured people.

 

Cubacan Kids: a project of love.

Ottawa, April 24, 2022.- Between music and dances was held the fundraising dance coordinated by the Cubacan Kids project. This project responds to the interest of Bill Ryan and other friends from Canada in helping the children of our island, by sending school supplies and other useful items for Elementary and Special Education.
