This weekend, Vancouver Communities in Solidarity with Cuba (VCSC) and Friends of Cuba Against the U.S. Blockade Vancouver (FCAB), together with Fire this Time Movement for Social Justice joined friends of our island for a successful weekend of solidarity in this Canadian city.
On Saturday, July 30, they set up a booth at the Vancouver Dyke Festival and March, where they displayed items in support of our people and then participated in the Dyke March where they waved Cuban flags.

On July 27th, the General Consulate of Cuba in Toronto participated in the presentation of HolaSun and OWG to Travel Agents and news outlets about HolaSun's products in Cuba.
As part of the event, the Cuban destinations to which the OWG airline will be flying were presented. The Cuban tourism section in Toronto and the hotel chains based in Canada promoted their products to Canadian travel agents and news oultlets.

On the evening of July 26, the General Consul of Cuba in Toronto, Jorge Yanier Castellanos, participated in the virtual meeting to celebrate National Rebellion Day, organized by the Canadian Network on Cuba.
With the participation of more than 115 people from different parts of Canada, the panelists, in their personal capacity and on behalf of different solidarity organizations and Cuban residents, expressed messages of friendship and affection towards the people of Cuba to celebrate this important date.

Cuban flags and 26th of July flags waved on the Boulevard Décarie, where joy and Cuban music enlivened the occasion.

The 69th anniversary of the assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks was celebrated with joy from Ottawa, Canada.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ottawa Cuba Connections organizations, members of other Canadian solidarity organizations, friends of Cuba and officials of the Cuban Embassy in the country.
