In the city of Montreal, more than 60 people gathered together in front of the Consulate General of Cuba in Montreal to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the assaults on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks.

The Embassy of Cuba in Canada celebrated the 70th Anniversary of the assaults on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks, with the participation of organizations in solidarity with Cuba and other friends of our people.

During the event, the importance of this date for our Revolution was highlighted, since these actions contributed to the maturity of the political awareness and served as inspiration for the revolutionary war. 

The Consulate General of Cuba in Toronto participates in an event aimed at promoting the Visa Program for new entrepreneurs in Canada (Start-Up Visa Program).

Consul Sabdiel Lafargue Moreno represented the Consulate at this event which was sponsored by the company specialized in the promotion of Keiretsu Forum Canada businesses. The moment was propitious to learndetails related to the new visa program implemented by the Canadian authorities, aimed at promoting the development of emerging business sectors in the country.

Cuban Consulate participates in Latin Fair of Toronto

On Sunday, June 25, the Cuban Consulate together with other Latin American consulates accredited in Toronto (Argentina, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Chile, Uruguay and Mexico) exhibited part of their roots at the Latin Fair of Toronto to highlight the Hispanic heritage and cultural diversity in Canada.
