Meeting of Cubans residents in the city of Montreal

 

Cuban residents in Montreal met at the Consulate General of Cuba in that city to discuss current issues and share life experiences.

As part of the exchange, they screened the video "Yo vengo de todas partes" (I come from everywhere), which recounts the historical process of rapprochement between Cuba and its nationals residing abroad, which began with the Dialogue of 1978.

Celebration of the 65th AnclaAnniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution in Toronto.

The 65th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution was celebrated in the city of Toronto in an activity organized by the Canadian Network on Cuba, the CCFA-Toronto, the Latin American and Caribbean Solidarity Network and the Juan Gualberto Gómez Association of Cuban Residents.

During the activity, messages of solidarity with the Cuban people and government were conveyed, the U.S. blockade against Cuba was condemned and the exclusion of our country from the arbitrary list of state sponsors of terrorism was demanded. 

Working meeting with Montreal city authorities

The Consul General of Cuba in Montreal, Susana Malmierca Benítez, held a virtual meeting with Josefina Blanco, Montreal City Councilor, Executive Committee member and responsible for matters such as diversity, social inclusion, homelessness, universal accessibility, women, youth and seniors, and with Esteban Benavides, International Affairs Advisor of the city of Montreal.

This meeting contributed to exploring areas of common interest between the city of Montreal and Cuba, mainly in social issues.

Marxist-Leninist Communist Party of Quebec celebrates the 65th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution.

An emotional evening organized by the Marxist-Leninist Communist Party was held in Quebec City in homage to the 65th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution. The event was attended by representatives of solidarity movements, friends of Cuba and members of the Cuban Consulate in Montreal. 

During the meeting, the participants expressed their support for the Cuban people and the Palestinian cause. They also condemned the unjust economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the US against Cuba and ratified their commitment in defense of social justice.
