Cuba Attends ParlAmericas Conference in Ottawa

Ottawa, October 19, 2017 - Deputies to the Cuban National Assembly of People’s Power (Parliament) Belkys Pérez Cruz and Ariel Mantecón Ramos, along with parliamentarians from other seven Latin American and Caribbean countries attended ParlAmericas Conference on Legislative Openness this week in Ottawa.

Cuban Minister of Tourism Visits Canada

Ottawa, October 16, 2017- Last Friday, Cuban Minister of Tourism, Manuel Marrero, concluded a four-day visit to Canada, which included a tour to Montreal and Toronto. The purpose of the visit was to stress that Cuba has rebounded from the ravages of hurricane Irma and that it is ready to welcome tourists, a message he has sent out to travel agencies, tour operators and the general public.

Cuban Embassy in Ottawa Hosts Homage to Che Guevara

Ottawa, October 9, 2017- Near one hundred people representing Cuba solidarity groups and political organizations payed tribute to Ernesto Che Guevara last Sunday, October 8, at the Embassy of Cuba on the 50th anniversary of his assassination.
