Declaration of the Association of Cuban Residents in Jamaica Antonio Maceo on the occasion of the explosion at the Hotel Saratoga
The Association of Cuban Residents in Jamaica wishes to express its deepest condolences to the people of Cuba, especially to the families and friends of the deceased, injured and missing persons in the unfortunate accident that occurred at the Hotel Saratoga in Havana.
Particularly painful are the deaths and injuries of children and the death of a pregnant woman, among the many victims of this painful event.
Feelings of admiration and recognition for the work of life, stand out in the messages of tribute to the passing of the beloved Ricardo Alarcón de Quesada, by Cuban residents, friends and members of the Cuban medical brigade in Saint Kitts and Nevis.
On May 6 and 9, a book of condolences was kept open at the headquarters of the Cuban Embassy in Basseterre, for those who wanted to pay posthumous tribute to the prominent diplomat and president of the National Assembly of People's Power, cataloged as a great patriot and entire revolutionary.
Jakarta, October 2, 2018. The letter reads as follows: “Dear Mr President, I’m deeply saddened by the news of the death of people as a consequence of a fire at the drug abuse rehabilitation center in Baku. I extend my heartfelt condolences to You and the families of the victims. Please accept my highest respect and esteem.”
President of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai has also sent a letter of condolences to Azerbaijan’s head of state.
