Kingston, Jamaica, April 13, 2022. On the afternoon of this Tuesday, the Ambassador of Cuba Fermín Quiñones paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Derrick McKoy, Attorney General of Jamaica, at his offices in New Kingston. In the brief but cordial meeting, both officials shared the interest of strengthening cooperation between the prosecutor's offices of Jamaica and Cuba, with emphasis on academic and professional exchanges.
Kentisha Daley is a young doctor from the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis who graduated from medicine in Cuba. She returns to Cuba to carry out postgraduate studies, as part of the cooperation agreements between the Antillean island and CARICOM countries.
Minister of Public Security General To Lam has suggested that his ministry and the Cuban Ministry of the Interior should continue their mutual support in the areas of their strength.

The Cuban Ambassador to Saint Kitts and Nevis, David Rivero Pérez, paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Education, Youth, Sports and Culture of this country, Honorable Jonel Powell.The positive meeting made it possible to confirm the good state of fundamental cooperation in the field of Education, evidenced by the mutual interest in continuing to strengthen and expand the traditional bond, through the development of other areas of work.
Riyadh, December 29th - Based on the cultural agreement in force between the Republic of Cuba and the Republic of Yemen, Cuban authorities decided to grant eight scholarships to Yemeni students to begin their medical studies on the Island, at the school year 2021-2022.
The scholarships were handled with the Department of Collaboration that Cuba Offers at the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment (MINCEX), through the agile coordination between the Embassy of Cuba in Saudi Arabia -with concurrence in Yemen- and his Yemeni counterpart.
