Havana, Dec 25 (Prensa Latina) Representatives of Cuba and Saudi Arabia signed a memorandum of understanding to expand and consolidate cooperation relations, local press reported today.
In the context of a visit by a delegation from the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), Cuban Deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Cabrisas and Saudi ambassador in Havana, Faisal bin Falah Al Harbi, signed the document.

Riyadh, November 3rd - The Ambassador of Cuba to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Vladimir Gonzalez Quesada, was received by the Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), Sultan Bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, who was accompanied by other executives of this important institution.

During the meeting, the Ambassador and his host reviewed the long-standing relationships between the fund and the different Cuban organizations and institutions, as well as the bilateral projects that are in execution, based on the different agreements signed.

Cuba adheres to ASEAN Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, signed the instrument of accession of Cuba to the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC), during a ceremony within the framework of the 37th Summit of the Association of Nations of the Southeast Asia, made virtually.

The event was attended by the foreign ministers of the ten member countries of that regional organization and the Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Vietnam, Pham Binh Minh, representing the country that presides over ASEAN in 2020.

Turkmenistan State University opens its doors to Cuba

The rector of the Turkmenistan State University, Bayramgul Orazdurdiyeva, showed interest in collaborating with Cuban institutions during a meeting with the Cuban ambassador to this Central Asian nation, Alfredo Nieves Portuondo.

The work meeting held at the university headquarters, allowed, according to the Cuban diplomat, to evaluate collaborative projects and strengthen the relations of friendship between the two nations.
