Cuban President urges to work with passion in 2023

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel urged today to work with passion and enthusiasm in 2023, a few days before commemorating the 64th anniversary of the Revolution.

In his Twitter account, the president referred to his speech at the last session of the year of the Council of Ministers, where he called for joining efforts to reverse the difficult economic situation the Caribbean nation is going through, despite the obstacles caused by the intensification of the blockade imposed by the United States.

Cuba celebrates Educator's Day and remembers cultural feat

Cuba celebrates today the Day of the Educator, on the 61st anniversary of the successful completion of the first great educational feat of the Revolution: the Literacy Campaign.

The consecration of those professionals dedicated to the noble task of educating and teaching, as well as those who in their early youth contributed to that feat, is recognized in educational centers throughout the country, including pedagogical training centers.

Monrovia, December 5, 2022 - Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera signed the Book of Condolences, opened at the Chinese Embassy in Liberia, on the occasion of the death of former Secretary General of the Chinese Communist Party and former President of the People's Republic of China, Jiang Zemin.

In her message, the Cuban diplomat Martínez Herrera expressed her condolences to the Chinese people, party and government, as well as to the family and relatives of the former leader of that sister Asian nation.

Cuban parliament president is welcomed by Turkish foreign minister.

Ankara, Dec 5 (Prensa Latina) President of Cuba's National People's Assembly, Esteban Lazo Hernandez, on Monday met with Türkiye's Foreign Minister Mevlüt Cavusoglu, a meeting described as fruitful.

During the talks, held in this capital, they ratified their willingness to strengthen bilateral relations in different spheres, according to the Twitter account of the Cuban National Assembly.
